Dear Doctors,
This is Dr. Shiraz. M.Esmail welcoming you aboard the new chapter which was formed at Attingal.I have immense pleasure in informing you that a new chapter was formed in Attingal, Thiruvananthapuram District on the 5th of March 2006. The inauguration was presided over by Dr. V. R Girish Kumar, General Secretary, Kerala State Working Committee of the association. There was also the esteemed prescence of other office bearers of the neighbouring Thiruvananthapuram Chapter who helped in making this venture a great success. The function had a good response from our fellow doctors in and around Attingal and we were able to have a gathering of about 30 doctors on the inaugural day itself. They all were overwhelmed by the concept of a new chapter at Attingal and gave their valuable suggestions regarding these.
The general body which joined decided to elect the office bearers for the next year. Thus a panel was elected unanimously.

Following this an inaugural class on Practical Aspects of Organon by Dr. Sabiraj. S, Medical Officer, G.H.D Upputhura was conducted with good response from the doctors.
